Below lists common uses for the different degree fin plugs:
0o – centre fins
3o – quad rear fins/longboard trailer fins in surfboards with little concave
5o – quad rear fins/longboard trailer fins in boards with heavy concave or thruster side fins in boards with little concave
9o – thruster side fins in boards with heavy concave
